Joyful meanderings

Wandering through the wilderness of mind and time and wait and stop and start again.

Start again.

Clothespins hold together the edges of my soul. Stitch me up and sew my spirit back on, like Peter Pan’s shadow, but reversed. A joyful awakening.

Awake to see the sun rise over the everpresent horizon of mind and tides and time. Reduced to a simmer of sweet reveries and seamless dreams.

So when I wake up I see my world, fresh formed wonder, staring out the window on an ancient day.
